hmm, imelik, et ma polnud varem Human League'i peale sattunud.tähendab, jah, ma olin seda kuulnud küll - "don't you want me?" on selline klassikaline cheesy synthpop'i valdkonna lugu, mis on paljudel olemas.
kuid millalgi hiljem ma sattusin mingi terve plaadi peale - a la - "Best of...! vms.
täiesti lõpp kui hea muss, nagu.
see bänd on muide ilgelt innovatiivne juba seetõttu, et rajas tee selliste tüüpide nagu nt. Gary Numan'i, David Bowie ja ka Marilyn Manson'i tänasema mussi(elektroonilisema, vähem metal'i noh.) jaoks.
"The name "Human League" derived from the game Starforce: Alpha Centauri, which was the second professional published science fiction wargame, by SPI. In the game, the Human League arose in 2415 A.D., and was a frontier-oriented society that desired more independence from Earth and the terraforming of systems not naturally habitable."
'85.a sai üks tollaseid bändi juhtfiguure, Phil Oakey, võimaluse teha koostööd Giorgio Moroder'iga, kes juhuslikult oli üks tema iidoleid.(huvitav, miks ,))
sealt tuligi siis "(together in) electric dreams",
mis oli pea samanimelise filmi OST põhilugu. :)
